Hi! I am Ladan.
I am currently an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design in the School of Art at Illinois State University. My research is about the concept of translation in the context of visual communication. I view graphic design through the lens of translation. My research investigates this process as a framework in which one can analyze, interpret, and create graphic design work. In my creative process, I engage in a self-reflective practice to define and expand this approach.
